class each day. Each class was challenging and pushed me to become better in each style that was taught. I learned so much

Dance Up Dallas is my favorite intensive because of the hard work and effort put into it. The teachers are super friendly and they teach you so much important technique in an easy-to-understand way. And you even learn how to put that technique into a special dance that you perform at the end of the week. Dance Up Dallas has been so fun and beneficial to me!

I love Dance Up Dallas because it brings new people from difference dance studios and we learn dances and styles that are not taught in our normal dance classes. Ms. Michelle and Mrs. Shelly are so fun each year and I learn a whole, whole lot about dance in a short time.

Dance Up Dallas took my daughter’s love of dance and her technique and ability to a new level. It was her first intensive and it lit a fire and passion in her that is still burning! Michelle and Shelly not only exposed her to several new styles of dance, but also gave her the opportunity to quickly learn choreography and push herself dancing for many hours each day. Dance Up Dallas has made her a better, more knowledgeable dancer in every way. She is exposed to professional dance with a blend of organized dance education mixed with performance, fun and creativity.

My experience this summer during Dance Up Dallas was a very beneficial intensive to attend to. It gave me the opportunity to expand my dance knowledge by providing a variety of dance styles. And with the help of the amazing instructors. I had the best dancing experience.

Dance Up Dallas is the most comprehensive intensive my daughter has ever attended. Michelle and Shelly have organized a truly unique dance experience. My daughter was able to absorb knowledge and technique from some of the best dancers in the industry. Both physical and emotional strength are cultivated during the week, and the dancers come away with skills and knowledge that they can apply to both their dance careers and life in general.

Dancing at Dance Up Dallas this summer was super fun and super challenging! My instructors always pushed me and made sure I felt comfortable doing what was being taught. I met so many nice people. I loved that the instructors focused on each person’s individual strengths. My favorite class was Afro-Carribean. Thank you Mrs. Shelly and Ms. Michelle!

Dance Up Dallas was the perfect summer program for me. I have been training with Ms. Michelle and Mrs. Shelly for years now, and I enjoy their energy and dedication to dance. Dance Up Dallas is different from other summer intensives because of the focus on a variety of dance styles—ensuring the students are fully equipped for the commercial and concert world. The space is intimate and allows the camp to foster a family-like program where all ages are able to interact with each other and create long lasting relationships. It’s a fun program that I would recommend to every dancer!

This was the first year my daughter attended Dance Up Dallas and she loved it! She had a wonderful experience with the staff and other students. She learned so many new skills. I loved the cell phone free lunch time enrichment where they all sat together and talked with special guest dancers. My daughter was so excited to meet someone who was dancing in Lion King Broadway. The dance performance at the end of the two weeks was exceptional. We are so grateful that she had this opportunity.
