Avery Alexander is a professional dancer from Dallas, Texas. She is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and Southern Methodist University, where she received her BFA in Dance Performance with minors in Arts Management and Arts Entrepreneurship. She received additional dance training from Dallas Black Dance Academy, Debbie Allen Dance Institution, The Ailey School, and Complexions Dance Academy. Avery has taught dance to children and adults in the Dallas Fort Worth area for 7 years. She is a former member of contemporary dance company, B. Moore Dance and has danced for Norwegian Cruise Lines Holdings, performing on stages at sea across the world.
