Alyssa Harrington
Alyssa Harrington, a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, is recognized internationally as a freelance artist, guest performing artist, choreographer, model, prevention/awareness artist and audition and rehearsal facilitator. She is a recipient of the Nebraska “Young Artist Award”, “Best Featured Dancer”, “Academic Scholarship Award”, and has a certification in Imperial Society of Teacher of Dancing (ISTD). Alyssa was recently featured at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) Animation and Film Festival in New York for her unique performances, inspiration and contributions to the performing arts and joined University of Nebraska Omaha’s "The Moving Company" as the youngest member in school history. Alyssa has received scholarships to attend Kansas City Ballet, The Ailey School, and Dallas Black Dance Theatre (DBDT) summer intensive, where she also served as a demonstrator for Dudley Williams and Milton Myers. Alyssa has performed and worked with Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Sally's Beauty Supply, Southwest Airlines, Brown Girls Do Ballet, Mahogany Blues Dance Apparel, Larwell Productions and B. Moore Dance, to name a few. Her choreography has been featured at numerous dance studios and drill teams as well as Channel 4 News, Youth American Grand Prix (YAGP) and Texas International Pageant. In addition to teaching dance, Alyssa has also had the privilege to be on staff for the past eight years at several Bar Method studios (Los Angeles, Texas & New York).
